Experience Tyrol
Families with children feel particularly at home in the Berwang-Bichlbach holiday region. Zugspitze
Not far from Alpchalet-Tirol (approx. 10 minutes by car) is the highest mountain in Germany. Adventure, breathtaking views and an alpine atmosphere await you. Experience Germany's highest peak from different perspectives. Enjoy the complete mountain experience in one day.
Highline 179
16 minutes from Berwang is the Highline 179 - the unique backdrop and a spectacular view. In the centre of one of the most important fortress ensembles in Central Europe - surrounded by a dreamlike landscape and imposing mountain ranges. It is the "longest Tibet-style pedestrian suspension bridge in the world".
Plansee
The Plansee is about 10 minutes away from Berwang. It is located in the district of Reutte, Tyrol, Austria within the Ammergau Alps. With an area of just under 3 km², it is the second largest natural lake in Tyrol. In summer and winter, joggers, Nordic walkers, hikers, cyclists and numerous other sports enthusiasts can be found on its shores, where there is also a beach.
Berwang-Bichlbach ski arena
In the Berwang-Bichlbach ski arena, families with children, leisure skiers, snowboarders and carving fans can discover 40 kilometres of groomed pistes with twelve cable cars and lifts. The ski lift goes directly to the top just a few steps from the chalet.
